I think social media is beneficial because it allows people to be able to see what other people are doing. I think social media allows us to show personal interests and activities. Yet, I think it can become a threat. Many people are not aware of the dangers of the internet. Many people decide to put personal information on the internet, or, include videos or pictures that show where they are; and some people post inappropriate or illegal content. The opinion is technically based on what information someone is willing to share.

Also you can communicate with others that don't have a cell phone(me) like on Facebook messenger. I normally talk to my mom and friend on Facebook.
